Working on the 4th.
Today I worked from 9ish to 5:30. The great thing about this is that I worked on time and a half. It was a great day. I even got tipped! For all of you that don't know, I work at Holiday Inn Express, as a maid. We don't get tipped often, though you'd think we would. Oh well. It's not a bad job.
I need to do homework now. There usually is a study session at this time of the week, but since it is after all the 4th of July, being a holiday, there is no session. Which means I'm all by my lonesome in trying to figure out my homework. Oh well. At least I have the day off tomorrow to work on it more. I want to do some other stuff too, but I haven't even looked at the homework, so who knows how long it'll take me to do. Hopefully not long!
On one off note, I listened to The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack at work today, and I have to say, there is a LOT of screaming in that. You don't notice it, how frequent it is, once the songs are flowing, but really, people scream all the time. Just so you know. In case you were curious. Yeah.

Ok, Susan and Cody are visiting this weekend, and they brought Jenna. She's a doll, but she's no longer little! I had to post an update picture. (She's the dog in the witch hat further down the page.)

iPod.
My iPod's back and so am I. I just got back from registering for USD classes, and it wasn't really stressful until I got away from my advisor and realized what I'd done. You see, I'd registered for a class that I want to be in, that sounds great for my major, and sounds wonderful to me, only I have to pay a whole lot extra to be in it. $3000 to be exact. That is the cost of the European tour that the choir I signed up to be in is going on. And it's required for all members. So yeah. I am in the class I really really wanted, but the price tag is way too much. Wow, it's a dilemna. One to sleep on.

Back to the grind...mmm....coffee.
Well, my day off is officially over and I didn't read, but I did shuffle some books around a bit in my room...ok, a lot. They're all over my bed and my floor. I need to go organize them so I can sleep tonight before working tomorrow. Yeah. That sounds good.
A day off.
Tomorrow I have a day off from work. What shall I do? I am ready to sleep in, but how pathetic is it that I've reached the point where I want to, but I still feel I'm wasting the morning that way? I feel so silly. Anyway. I think I'll read a book...I don't know which, but a book. And I'll organize my bookshelves. I have too many books to fit in my room. I love them all too! It's just not fair. Oh well. So I'm a bookworm. I like being one! I think I'm going to go now, and maybe read or study something. I have a couple subjects I must 'master' over the summer.
Math....enough said.
I am watching She's All That on tv and doing math on the computer and in my notebook. Chris is sitting next to me. We're going to do something tonight, but I don't know what. We'll see later. Right now I'm going to do homework while he takes a nap.

Here I am. I have finally brought my awesomely Apple laptop down to Pier 347. I sit here sipping on a very cool Strawberry Blast smoothie, and I am enjoying myself. I only wish they were open past four. I'm going to have to leave in about fifteen minutes! :( Oh well. I'm going to surf the web some more, and then head home so I can do some more homework. I have it sitting next to me, and I'd do some here if I had more time, but I got stuck in construction and I have to 'conserve' my time. I don't often get free time to just sit and hang out here. And I love to. So here I am. Time to surf!
